Grow Room Pulse Labs Tester Group

Good stuff man!
How are you affixing your Pulse Nano? I think I am going to hang mine but still puzzling out the best way...

great question @wwwillie

I am currently using a ratchet rope with the hook in the slot on the back of the pulse nano to hold up my pulse nano and powered by the included micro USB cable by a wall socket so no worries about the batteries dying on me

it works for me very well since I can move it up or down very easy or more it to a different spot in the tent if I want you can see in this pic of how it is set up right now

I have tried it in a few spots around my tent and get about the same readings so it can be placed just about anywhere so its up to the user on where to place it but near the top of the canopy level near the light would be best to get the beat readings

Thanks, that's what I thought I saw and why I asked. That is what I think I will do when I get the mites under control in there.

did you say mites like spider mites?:yoinks: burn it with fire!:fire::hothot:

man that sucks I had spider mites once and had to scrap a whole grow I just said to hell with it and tossed the whole plant and even the pot it was in a shut my tent down for a few weeks and sprayed bleach on everything

hope it work out for you :greenthumb:

Yup, that would be them. Put the halt on things until I get them gone. Hope it doesn't f' up my schedule too much. Got the battles coming up really quick. It's my first infestation, fungus gnats last time, these now. In the 5 years I've been running my garden Iv'e never had this issue with pests. Grr... Azamax spray for now. I have the comfort of a good size stash for the family so I can take my time and figure this stuff out. It is my hope to bring them back. It was a hella mess that happened fast. They are perking up nicely though and are very hungry. If they don't get better I'll just cut some clones and start over, it is my clone tent after all.

@db003 Those are some absolutely massive autos, especially since you topped!!!

@wwwillie Personally I put a small screw/nail on our trellis supports to affix the Nano with the keyhole opening on the back. Some users want prefer to have it centered under the light and they do a similar method with a bamboo stake and go cordless (the units have fresh batteries in them, all you need to do is remove the microUSB and it will stay powered). Bummer about the spider mites, I've only had them once years ago and we managed to eliminate them with Azamax and diligence. Don't spray too frequently or your plants will start deforming, etc. I thought that was a tough battle.... until we came up against root aphids that went undetected for some time. Literally nothing worked, even systemics, we tried everything. Finally got rid of them by taking a few cuts from our mothers and then "cooking" the room, plants included, by turning on all the lights and disabling A/C & exhaust. It was a 100% effective after a year long battle but required a full reset.

@Clix You can do the same (go cordless) when using it inside your domed clone trays, just remove the microUSB. You can switch from corded to batteries at any time depending on what works better for you. Battery mode is super handy when you are tracking the RH of your curing buds, allowing for a full seal on your burping containers.
