Dinafem Proph and Bonnie the Blue Kush

Thanks for the tip! I do have a way to lower temps. I will definitely try that technique. She seems to be a fast finsher! Is it common for this strain to finish before the 70th day range?

I have seen her finish in 65 days mate but typically she is a 70-77 strain. I think you have a faster pheno :pass:

Things are looking great and the buds are getting huge :slap:

Great work so far and thank you for the continued picture updates very much appreciated!

Until the next one :pass:

All the best

Day 59:

She's pretty much ready to go! Im going to do one more watering with Herculean Harvest and Mammoth P then wait for the pot to dry out one last time. About 95% milky trichs and she reaks of gas and berries.. Im thinking 7-10 more days max.

This has strain has been a pleasure to grow. I am sold on Dinafem genetics. I will run this strain again as soon as possible. I cant wait to try a few other Dinafem strains as well. This Blue Kush prospered under the hands of a rookie. The buds are super dense and sticky. She endured through several mishaps on my part. She lost 2 whole branches because I broke them durring lst. She could have had a minimum of 4 more colas. But I'm not growing for yield yet. That will come with experience. I just want to get the process correct and have the best results I can, regardless of amount. This is grow/strain was a great confidence builder. Next update may be a harvest update!

Since I can only harvest on the weekends due to my schedule, I decided that today would be better than next Sunday. Bonnie was at about 10% Amber and the rest milky. I didn't want to get to 30% ambers or higher so better to be safe than sorry!

This was a super fast finishing pheno. Kinda like the one @Discretepete2676 had in the grow off. This was ready at 60 days. I let it go for 66 days. She wanted lots of N and was always a happy plant. Her smell is definitely desiel dominate. I could see a good amount of color variation durring the trim process as well.

Total wet weight: 149g minus trim.. so maybe an ounce and a half dry! I was using a 2 gallon (7.6L) root trapper and she only grew to about 27 inches..I definitely should have used a 3 or 5 gal. But I am super happy with the results regardless.

Mistakes I made that may have affected yield: 1. Underfeeding. I was worried about burn too much. By the time I started paying attention to the plant rather than the feed schedule, the N deficiency had already shown itself. 2. Lst errors. I snapped off the actual main stem that I had topped. So basically topped her for nothing. Lol. Thats at least 4 colas that I missed out on. I also broke 2 other branches that I was able to keep in place with tape.

Bonnie is now chillin in a brown bag hanging in the tent until dry. Thank you to everyone who commented, lurked, and provided advice!! I hope this will help someone in someway at some point! @Rebel, is this grow badge worthy?? Hahaa!

I'll drop a smoke report in a couple of weeks after its cured a bit!! On to the pics..

Sounds like the exact same pheno I had as the quick finisher! Than I had a big in between pheno and then a big blue pheno. It was sweet having all three phenos in one run

That must have been niioooccee! I want to run a few of them together in my next run. How long did you let yours cure for before you tried it?

Thank you for showing some pre harvest shots mate this will give new growers of this strain a better view of what to expect

I must say this email buds look very dense and great to hear she was easy to trim. Give her a week to dry and a couple of weeks to cure and you will have some fire end product

I think you have done well and a bug thank you for the grow diary and continuous picture update :slap:

Will look forward to a final weigh in and smoke report once fully dry and cured :pass:

Until then happy drying and enjoy that have harvest :pass:

All the best
