Hey guys,
I have my main tent set up (90x90x150, 400w HPS, 6" exhaust w/carbon filter etc etc) and I have a smaller tent (90x90x60) which I want to use for starting off my seedlings as the HPS is a bit much for the young 'uns. So my question is, what kit would I need for it? My tent is a twin so the small tent fits on top of the main tent, my plan being, connecting the top tent to the bottom tent so it draws air through the top propagation tent, giving fresh air to the seedings and into the main tent, then obviously through the filter and fan and exhausted outside. At the moment I'm growing 8 autos in 6.5 ltr pots but after this I want to grow 6 autos in 11 ltr pots so at any one time I would only have 6 seedlings going although I want to start a perpetual grow going so it will be more than likely only 3 seedlings. I will also use the top chamber for drying my (hopefully) beautiful buds.
Would I be able to to this using just a single CFL (thinking of this spec - 125w VEGGING NEW GENERATION CFL 200W PLUG AND GROWTM LAMP - 6400K (VEGGING))

It sounds like your complicating things to much.Theres no reason you can't veg under the 400watt hps.Keep it simple.I wouldn't dry in that upper area because it will still get to warm and drying should be done in a cool area with no excesive air flow that can dry them out to fast,slow is better.
