Anyone grow in Promix Organic Garden Mix OR Promix Premium Moisture Potting Mix( red bag).
I want to know if I need to PH my RO water with Mega Crop 1 part. After adding MC I end up around 6.4-6.7 ph.. iv searched alot and some say PH and some say no need.. what you guys say?? Or can you send me a link with a bunch of info on the two varieties. Promix's website was terrible for info.

I would ph your water to 6.3 to 6.8 i run mine at 6.5 plus or minis .1 and run pro mix hp.

This is my bread and butter, i ph my water to 6.0-6.4 wih good results on red and yellow bag of promix. I use autopots with these promix bags with great success. After each grow wash the salts out of the promix and reuse it.i have been bottom feeding a few plants and the yellow and red bag both wick up just fine even without added perlite or hydroton, those just help even more. I use mega crop 1 part also in all my grows so if you have any other questions shoot away.

What's your feeding schedule look like? I didn't think I was going to find anyone using the same mix. Seems like HP is everyone's choice.

Well i am not rich so i buy what works and is good for my wallet, i tried finding coco but so expensive.. so this stuff has been my go to.

My feeding schedule is 100-300ppm for seedlings, 400-650ppm for veg, and 650-1000ppm for flower i add 100ppm or so of bud explosion during mid flower for pk boost. And some calmag and epsom salt to all stages, not much.

Well i am not rich so i buy what works and is good for my wallet, i tried finding coco but so expensive.. so this stuff has been my go to.

Really you add more calmag huh.??. there's quite a bit in there already but good to know.. isn't Epsom salt the same as calmag? Sorry for the dumb questions man.. jus trying to learn

It has enough in it but if your plant gets to close to the lights and such it will use more of it, if you ever get those spots on your leafs its most likely a cal/mag issue.

i normally don't add much like 50ppm of cal/mag and 20-30ppm of epsom salt. as for them being the same i think epsom salt does not have any cal in it and just extra mag, not sure myself i follow a recipe on my 1 part mega crop,cal/mag, and epsom salt and it works pretty good.

i have had to increase cal/mag usage past 50ppm this past grow as my plants were getting 1050-1250 par and getting those freaking spots! i followed the directions on my bottle of CaLiMAGic which i think is 1ml per liter of water. i had 10 gallons in my res so i gave it 38ml of cal mag figuring extra can't hurt it.

i'm not a pro, i am just learning as i go.

Nice man thanks!! I'm on my very first run ever so trying to figure it all out. I stunted both my AK-47 Autos so they are both on week 13 and one is almost done and one is just starting to throw pistols now at 13 weeks! Almost makes me think it's a photo but it stinks sooo good and it's super healthy and even tho it hasn't grown in weeks it has never shown any stress or marks on leaves. Jus hasn't grown and that's it. Moved it outside week ago cuz I was afraid it was going to herm on me and I didn't want it to mess up the one with buds on it. The pic is the one that has been frozen in time for what seems like almost a month.

I used the black bags this year to plant certain veggies and flowers into pots (whatever didn’t fit into my beds I made in the yard) and it worked really well. Got some great tomato plants going right now if I can get the slugs under control. Also the mixed flower pots my girlfriend did lasted months . I don’t see why it wouldn’t grow some great cannabis as well!
