I have these seeds I was germinating for three days in wet paper towel between two plates however it was quite cold in the house the whole time. I put them in a water glass for a few hours and they sank, I put them in the paper towel again but they still arent showing any signs of sprouting. Should I give up and try different seeds or keep trying?

my, my... :rolleyes2: welp, u've got some choicez...and none of em involve paper towelz, lol :coffee: i honestly don't understand why so many peepz insist on the paper towel method, becuz it'z totally unnecessary & a bad risk besidez  as for the beanz ur dealin with atm, jus g'head & stick em in the dirt, keep the soil moist with a mister 3-4 timez daily, and they'll sprout...probly in a day'z time i'd bet, since they've presoaked for so long already ;) i meself jus drop a bean into a shotglass of spring water, put it up on a shelf in the dark for 36 hrz, then, whether it'z sank or not, whether it'z sprouted a tail or not (uzually not in both casez), in the dirt it goez...i keep the soil misted & they sprout in 2-3 dayz, every time  in all fairness tho, a bean can also jus be put straight into the dirt, and as long as the dirt is kept moist, it'll sprout ;) ppp

Germination is the simpliest part of growin IMO....
Way back when, I went through some of the complicated methods to get a seed to pop...then 'joila! Nature doesn't do all that ....
100% germ can't be beat which is what I get regardless strain, breeder or distributor.
Simple is:
Using biobizz light mix the whole grow, I place seeds right out of the pack into moistened medium, place on a heat pad, with a humidity dome...2-4 days all are popped.
This simple method doesn't include soaking, paper towels, dvd case, or fertility chants which I'm sure wouldn't improve my 100% germ rate.

They need warmth, so put them on something warm like a satellite receiver next time. Or buy a heat mat.

Warm soil cannot be beat.
If the seeds are like 5 or 10 years old and the gift from God. You could consider using a 2% mix of GBA.
But I'd recommend practicing on cheap seed first to get your knowledge tuned first.
