Man those are looking really good. I had also thought of a similar idea on the home-made airpots, cool idea dude. I will definitely be trying this out soon.
Did you use heat or a soldering iron to make the holes so that they stay smooth and don't possibly damage the roots?
And did you start your seeds straight intoOF soil?
I ask because it is said to be too hot for most AF seedlings. Or did I miss the fact that they are photo plants? Sorry if I did.
I used a soldering iron to make the holes. It melts the plastic as if nothing is even there. More than a second and you'll burn a huge hole in the pot. They look really good in person and r smooth as eggs! LOL
These are photo plants but they've been in ffof soil since they germinated. I've always used ffof and my first 3 grows were autoflowers. Didn't have any issues with the soil being too hot. Sometimes you get a tiny amount of burn on the tips but i haven't really noticed any negative effects from it.
