I've been trying to find out how much Cannaoil sells for. The only thing I've found so far is a couple dispensaries in CA that sell it for $20 an ounce. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a little bit dangerous, but making your own is the best choice to be sure of quality.

both the above... my thoughts exactly... depends if you want to take intrnally(ie lung cancer etc etc) or use as a salve for external (ie skin cancer, burns , cuts)

Sorry, should have been more specific. The Mrs. has been slow cooking trim and shake in the crock pot in vegetable oil. We are then using this oil to make edibles. She's got the potency to where it can be used 1 to 1 in place of regular oil. She's been making brownies and we've been sampling them around and seem to have created a market for the oil. But I haven't been able to find much information on what it sells for.

Hmm.. that i am not sure about. Never even had the opportunity to sell some thing like that. I suppose you'd have to figure out what the trim cost you, the oil. Add the 2, then double that price at least.

Retail markup is usually more than 200%.

I'm stuck on using oil on my trim or butter. All the edibles talk has me thinking of doing some baking this weekend.

OH i c.... well unless you're producing mass quantities... i'd say save some... it stores almost forever in a dark cool place... and its invaluable medicine.... i usually make chocos or browines... sometimes i sell them to friends... usually give them to guests as treats.. :)

Right now I've got 1/2 gallon of Columbian Red Haze oil and 1/2 gallon of Afghani #1 oil. I've still got another 2.5 oz Afghani trimmings, and another 8 oz. of G13xHaze, CRH, and Mi5 trimmings to cook down. We're using about 2 oz. of trimmings per 1/2 gallon, so enough to make about 4 gallon. Thinking maybe $100 per 1/2 pint.

We will certainly be keeping some for ourselves. About to harvest some Onyx and AA, so more trimmings to come.

Thanks Thai, they have it listed on their menu at $28 but don't give the size. I've seen in on some CA dispensary menus for $20 an oz. Know someone in Ontario who paid $320 an oz. but it was super concentrated.

I've read that coconut oil makes the best but I hate the taste of coconut and am concerned the taste would carry through to the finished baked goods.

Next time I'm in a dispensary here, I'll check on the price.
Or check out this site: http://www.thereleafcenter.com/menu - it's a local center. They have their menu posted, but the link is block by my workplace so I can't see if they have oil listed or not. Typically for most edibles, those made with a single strain bud gets the top price. Those from multi-strains trim is considered bottom-shelf.

FYI - try making some with coconut oil. The most potent oil I've ever encountered!

i tend to think ib baking the cocnut flav wouldn't come through...
