So this concludes one of two tests of Prescription Blend (PB) -- the other test (three strains from Sweet Seeds) is still on-going and can be followed at:
And, so how did PB do? Smashingly well in my opinion. This grow involved top feeding a two-litre soda bottle filled with a soil mix (Roots Organic Original with 30% perlite and enhanced with azomite, worm casings, and dolomite. The light was an Amare SE450UVB. We followed the recommended feed schedule without alteration or concern for AutoFlowers or the intense LED/COB lighting. At no time did the plant ever show any stress or deficiency. Awesome !
Thanks to
@Autoseeds.com for the HiJack seeds. A lovely strain, and I look forward to growing her again in the next AutoSeeds 2020 Grow Battle. :smoking:
And a special thanks to
@Prescription Blend for their nutrients, and for their encouragement and feedback during the grow. :smoking:
This tread is focused on trialing the PB nutrient line, and is not intended to be a competition between another nutrient line (GreenLeaf). Differences in pheno types and the tiny number of samples make that a meaningless exercise. That having been said, I thought it would be helpful to have some basis of comparison, hence the grow of a sister plant on the highly popular GreenLeaf line (MegaCrop, Sweet Candy, Bud Explosion & 3rd-party cal-mag supplementation). And how did that go? Pretty even match, I'd say. Both plants grew to equivalent heights of about 15" (38 cm) and had equivalent structures and bud development. Although, as noted by
@Waira back on March 8th, the PB gal was a bit fuller in her bud development.
Finally dry weights are:
Prescription Blend: 45 gr, 1.6 oz
GreenLeaf: 41 gr, 1.4 oz
Here's a couple of side-by-side parting shots. What do you think?
