I've never done a grow without nute burning the ladies. This current grow started badly, but I think I've saved the plants, they seem to be recovering, but I'd bet I've added a week or two to the process.

I broke down and bought a PPM pen meter, to hopefully avoid this situation moving forward.

My question is what particles are being measured/per million? in other words, say I have a PPM reading of 500. Does that tell me what the particles are? Does it do anything to tell me my N,K,P levels are adequate? Or could I have a 500 PPM reading and be deficient in an important nutrient, like N, for example? If so, what is the value of the PPK pen?

I hope this question isn't often asked, I've scanned though a lot of the site, and didn't see it...but then there is SO much information, I may have missed a relevant post!

Again, thanks in advance for any information, thoughts, etc.

aloha,

Bobble. I just did a quick search. If you use a search engine plug this phrase in: "ppm reading cannabis." You will find lots of info. I did not want to link the sites here because they are from other grow sites. I hope it helps and then if you find something you can build a knowledge base here.
