Hi, yes it is pretty silent. However you can still hear it at night since there's no ambient sounds.
Also a lot of noise is produced by ductwork if it's not linear.
You can probably start to slowly(everyother day, or daily) to see what she really likes, shes got some roots and nutes she can take a little heat now. Looking spot on!!!

Yes, I can imagine that air makes some sound and there is nothing like really silent fan on the market, but my crap works on 20% only and I hear some metalic sound (it is not broken, just a cheap stuff).
I do not hear it on the exhaust hole, so no sound filter helps at all. I hear it through the wall of my grow tent and when I go out of the room, I can still hear it from outside.
Since I use no fan lights in this room, this fan is now my noise bottleneck. Not for a long time, I think. But was hard to find a silent fan, your initial post gave me good info at last.
I've read tons of info and didn't find any fan which is more silent than the one that I have. However I didn't manage to make it work with regulator. It's just plain on or off. May be that's the regulator model, no idea.
