Ahhhhh i'm freaking out! Due to ice storms on the east coast this week my indoor grow (4 autoflowers from fastbuds) have been without power for just about 48 hours now. They are at Day 40 of growth and I grow in autopots with coco/perlite. The watering issue is fine, but they have no light and the grow tent is reading 46° F. How resilient are autoflowers???? Do I risk taking them out of the house, driving them to another location that has heat???? How long can they tolerate low temps? The power company has no time estimate for power being returned.

The attached photo is how they currently look. Should I let them ride it out or attempt to transport??? Thank you in advance if anyone has advice!

I had left two hydro grown autos (hand-watered ebb and flow) without light, no ventilation with a max temp of 60 degrees alone for a little over two weeks. The more mature of the two hung in there and was eventually harvested while the other which was five weeks behind the other didn't fare too well.

You might want to consider buying a power inverter that you can plug into the cig lighter jack of a car. That way there you can at least give your tent the bare minimum at times when the power might go out.

I’d get them warm, you have a portable propane or kerosene heater? I’m sure they are pretty resilient but it’ll probably slow them down...
Or small generator and ceramic heater. I wouldn’t transport. I live in NNY so there’s a possibility of that happening here but I’d just bring my plants into the room(s) that I am heating with Kero heater
