If you take into account the limited lifetime of autos and in turn the relatively little foliage they have, which IS the primary source of energy of the plants (glucose production), then I'd say pinching out leaves from autos is pretty bad. "short lives" should be an incentive to not remove any foliage, not a reason to. Another reason, unlike weak lower stems/buds, leaves do not use any energy from the plant. Unless a leaf is damaged, or something of the sort, I wouldn't remove it. The way I see it.

i Fimmed my (fruit salad x pink bud) from around week 2 up untill i notice main cola bud forming, though im not too sure i fimmed correctly but i manly cut the next set fan leaves and just tips of next branching,But it seems to have bushed out more then any other auto ive grown with out being altered. That was the only female i got from first 5 seeds i poped and im going leave the next ones in the tent normal i was just curious if fimming worked cause i topped an auto befor and it had weird growth and finished slow. but ive never grown fsxpb so maybe it being bushy is normal?, they are on 20/4 cycle. Shes 26 days from seed.
