Hi guys,

I saw somewhere on AFN about ponytailing, can someone explain to me how this works and what it does for a seedling?

(Not my pic by the way)

The idea is to allow light into otherwise shaded bottom growth, resulting in a more even canopy without bending her. I wouldn't recommend a zip tie though, if that's what the pic is. Pipe cleaners work well.

Thanks for the info! Much appreciated. Yeah I think it's a zip tie. I do have some very small zip ties but I think I will use pipe cleaners as you say! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

A-train has some really good pictorials with in depth reasoning. Can't remember where I saw it though. Maybe if you can find a grow battle he just finished. I believe it was against Trapper and the strain was street sweeper.

I've read people doing this for a few hours at a time per day and really seeing an improvement.
