Problem: Bright Orange Spots appearing on Fan Leaves. At first the problem started on the upper-most fan leaves with a tanish color. Eventually the color began to turn into a medium/ bright orange color and also started spreading to other leaves. Progressing down the plant

Medium/grow method: Soil --> 42.5% Roots Organic , 42.5% BioBizz Light, 15% Perlite

Feed: and supplements used: This Was what I fed the plant Right before the the Orange/Tan spots popped up.
2000ml Distilled Water + Nutes: (2ml TOTAL) Sensi Bloom A&B + (1ml) B-52 + (2ml) Voodoo Juice + (1 ml) Sensizym + (1 ml) Rhino Skin + (1 ml) Calmag + (1ml) Carboload + (0.25 ml) Bud Factor + (0.25ml) Big Bud

water source: Distilled Water- Ph was around 6.3 with meter, but the Ph drop tester came out with a tint of orange, So I couldnt really tell. I recently tested the runoff and it came out at 6.1 with a freshly calibrated meter.

Strain/age: LSD Autoflower From FastBuds - It Was day 35 total (Day 9 of Flowering stage) When I gave the nutes, resulting in the orange spots. It is now currently day 40 (Day day 14 of flower)

light used: 400w HPS Light and 450w LED light : Both Lights Are 25 inches away

Climate: Temp is 70 f - 83 f ----- Humidity is 40%-50%

Additional info: when I gave nutrients the Ph was around 6.3 with meter, but the Ph drop tester came out with a tint of orange, So I couldnt really tell. I recently tested the runoff and it came out at 6.1 with a freshly calibrated meter. So I dont think this is a ph problem resulting from the soil....
I read that this problem could possibly be rust fungus, but when I rubbed my finger across the orange spots, nothing came off onto my finger. I read that If it was rust fungus it would come off on my finger when I touched it.

My guess is magnesium deficiency. Try 2ml calmag or some epsom salts in your water.

Sent from my comfy chair.

Could just be insufficient calcium, maybe magnesium deficiency too. But even if the spots are not Ca/Mg deficiency, 1 mL/L is just too low cal-mag supplementation in my limited experience, particularly in early bloom; and if, as it seems, there was no preloading of your medium and then no supplementation with cal-mag throughout the veg phase. In that context , your plant is right on schedule showing deficiencies in early bloom. Consider foliar feeding including your cal-mag supplement.

Any reason why you are supplemental feeding the plant so little? Do you expect any actual results from using Bud Factor X and Big Bud at only 0.25 mL/L, only 1/4th the recommended dose? An AN help line tech told me with autos just go directly to OverDrive (or another heavy P-K/bloom supplementation regimen), that Bud Ignitor and Big Bud are just too wimpy for most high-performance autoflowering strains. Why only half the recommended dose of Sensizyme? If anything, with that, add more than recommended - it can only help.

:toke: Julian-- I think this is P defc., plain lack-of... you pH seems to be OK,... broader patches of necrosis like this are usually P defc., though there's some overlap with Ca. defc. symptoms on occasion... I know, it's high on the plant, which hints more at Ca defc, because Ca is poorly mobile within the plant, but I'm finding sometimes the plant will pull from closer leaves, not necessarily from the bottom ones to get mobile nutes like P... and it's entirely possible you're short on both! ... I'd say feeds in general are too weak, and now that P demand is ramping up, it's showing,.. agreed, more Ca-Mg is needed too, because of the Di water, and LED lights, which seem to elevate demand for Ca-Mg inputs,... That'[s a lot of light, how big is the tent? Distance is OK -ish, depending on size,.... overly strong light, not burning but still too intense can exacerbate such symptoms,....
Here's a weirder case of P defc. from a member a while back,...

Thanks buddy,thats what I was thinking.

Problem: Orange/Brown Splotchy veins. The symptom is worse at the bottom of the plant. Symptomed is Lessened in intensity as it goes up the plant

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feed: and supplements used:
First off, This is the nutrient schedule for the current week i am at right now. This schedule is the weekly total.

Total Nutes for this week:
(3 ml/L) Sensi Bloom A + (3 ml/L) Sensi Bloom B + (1.5 ml/L) Sensizym +
(1.5 ml/L) Rhino-skin + (1.5 ml/L) Big Bud + (1.5 ml/L) Bud Factor + (1.5 ml/ L) CalMag + (2 ml/L) Overdrive

I give nutrients two times per week. So this feeding was only half of the weekly total. This Was what I fed the plant the night before the spots popped up.
At First I gave:
2.5 L of Distilled water + (1.5 ml/L) Sensi Bloom A + (1.5 ml/L) Sensi Bloom B + (0.80 ml/L) Sensizym + (0.80 ml/L) Rhino-skin + (0.80 ml/L) Big Bud + (0.80 ml/L) Bud Factor + (0.80 ml/ L) CalMag + (1 ml/L) Overdrive (ph was 6.5 and the runoff dropped to 5.6-5.7)
^
I figured this runoff was to low, So I decided to give the plant more water:
I then gave the plant an additional 2.5 L of Distilled water. I gave nutrients once again, at the same strength (Which is half of the weekly total, as listed above) This time I gave the nutrients at ( ml / 2 L) so the nutrients were calculated for 2L , and then I added an additional 500ml of Distilled
Since the runoff of the previous feeding was so low (Which was the same night) , I decided to raise the ph of the second feeding to 7.0 ph . The solution went in at 7.0 and the runoff tested at a ph of 6.0
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

water source: Distilled Water-
The First watering of 2.5L of Distilled + nutrients went in at 6.5, and runoff dropped to 5.6-5.7
The Second watering of 2.5 L of Distilled + nutrients went in at 7.0 ph , and runoff dropped to a ph of 6.0
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strain/age: GreenCrack Autoflower From FastBuds - The night I gave the nutrients was : April 13 --> (Day 55 In total) -> Day 26 of Flower
April 15th --> It is now Day 57 , Day 28 of Flower
--------------------------------------------------------
light used: 400w HPS Light and 450w LED light : Both Lights Are 25 inches away

Climate: Temp is 70 f - 83 f ----- Humidity is 40%-50%

Additional info: I have 6 plants in the tent. All of the other 5 plants were given the exact same conditions. Every single one of the other 5 plants recieved the exact same watering and nutrient feedings. Every single plant had very similar runoff tests aswell. All 6 plants were first fed at 6.5 , and every single one of their runoffs tested at 5.6-5.8 the first time. The second watering (Which was the same night) All 6 plants were fed at 6.9-7.0 ph , and all 6 plants had a runoff of 5.9-6.1 for the second feeding.

Therefore, all of the plants have the exact same conditions, However, It is only Greencrack that has these symptoms.

:toke: hey J'-- ...looks like a Ca defc., less typical in symptoms, but occasionally I see this hitting right along the veins,... Did you use water only when taking pH going in, was is adjusted at all? This will skew results, and the run-off method of testing is not that good to begin with,.. straight run-off like this is not an accurate measure,.. check out the improved run0off test method in the highlighted section above this one,... Still the fact that the pH dropped a full point is bad indication, it's definitely too acidic in that pot,... Your water is stripped of pH buffering minerals, some of which are replaced by the Ca-Mg, but not much at that dosage,...nutes tend to be acidic, and AN nutes can "self-buffer" in solution, they don't do this once in-pot,.. too many other influencing factors there, which is in part why the other plants may not be having troubles like this,.... each pot is it's own little "ecosystem", so to speak,...
What's you tap water source like? -- pH, hardness/ppm/EC..... you might need to flush with a higher pH water + Ca-Mg,... meantime, up your Ca-Mg,... some of the uptake is compromised by the off pH,... LED puts higher demand for it as well,....
