Indoor Please help me with My little ones

From whatr I've read on this, those spots are caused by a large, rapid, change in ph. The transfer to the rockwool may just have been that shift.

yeah but it seems very strange because the spots started before I put them in rockwool so how is it possible?

hmmm.. gotta look into this a little bit closer. When they were in the root it plugs I sprayed the bottom and the roots 1-2 times a day with Ph´d water but I only ph´d the water in my sprayer once... could the Ph in my sprayer have risen and caused it?? because it sure wasnt the RW that caused the spotting because they appeared erlier.

anyway as I said before I watered the cubes with ph 5.5 and a week nute mix and the spotting havent gotten any wore today so hopefully it worked

I squeeze them out and re-water with water ph'd to what I intend to grow at.
OKey so u soak them in nutes and then squeeze the water out and then soak them again in phd water 5.5 about 30 min before transplant?

well all i ment was Im used to organics and stability within my mediums, i ask since chem are an inherent issue chasing PH is all, was curious to HOW stable they were or are they always requiring PH water and feeds that will hold solid until the next watering or feeding, thats what I mean really. cuz PH is too Up or down and too we,t overly wet mediums are rough to contend with. inherent issues. ya may wanna try a simple organic seedling mix and plain RO water to start with. prolly be more solid for you. and dont spray them especially under heavy LED or HID lighting.

No nutes for 7-10 days, they just don't need it till the roots are developed. In fact, using none till they are at least a week old pushes them to seek water and nutrients, building root mass. A drop or 2 of Clonex, Dip and Grow, etc in the first watering can help however. You must dilute it according to directions first, then add drops to the water you'll use in the first watering. Just the once though, is all that's needed

Here's another tip for you, if you plant to transplant later, do so when the leaves are the width of the pot. That is the point when the roots have built a root system to the bottom of the pot, but root circling is only beginning. You'll find your transplants show no signs of transplant shock and begin to grow within hours, I've done it many times!

I don't use rockwoool anymore for two reasons, one being these exact issues, and secondly, it is a source of landfill pollution, it doesn't breakdown for a LONG LONG time!

Jiffy pellets or Root Riots are a much better starting medium and can be transplanted into any type of system.

that´s almost what i´ve been doing. I put the seeds in root it plugs (which is the same as as root riots) and let the roots develop. at day 9 the spots in the pics began to develop and I took that as an indicator that they we´re hungry for some nutes so I transplanted them in RW soaked with the ec of 0.8 and pH of 5.5 but the spots still grew. it was the first day today that they had not been growing. The reason why I want to pu them in rock wool is because from what i´ve learned is that its a good thing to do before putting them in the DWC netpot.
thanks for taking your time to help me out . really appreciate it !
