What is it exactly? I often see it in thread title but not sure of it definition...
Does it mean having multiple plants from different age in the same tent and harvesting one or two every month or so? Is that even doable and how do you please every plant climate wise?
Thanks!

Yes, that's what it means. You do it by starting new seeds while other plants are growing. The gap can be a small or large as you want.. Anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months is most common.

A lot of different ways to do it. Cloning or starting from seed or a mix of both in one or more spaces. Can do it with autos in the same space or multiple spaces but having more plants ready before the next cycle ends is the general idea.

I have a veg tent and flower tent. The room they are in remains at 55-60% RH and the temps with lights on around 78-80f. I cut clones several weeks before my harvest is ready then transplant them in after the harvest. Then 0-2 weeks of veg and flower and repeat. I can flower and veg in both of these albeit with a humidity dome over the clones.

Can you do it in the same tent?

\\\ Can you tell i just got a new 4x8 !!! :woohoo:

With autos, yes. Plant your first plant or 2, wait a couple weeks, and plant again, and repeat until your tent is filled. The biggest benefit is you're always harvesting, and you're not stuck with a pound of bud to trim all at once. You can also fit more plants in the tent than you can normally can, since some are always flowering, some are always vegging/seedlings.

From when I ran a single tent perpetual grow:

I'm in the beginning of getting one off the ground with autos currently in one tent if you wanna check my grow journal here.

What would be ideal as temp and RH goes for a perpetual grow in a 4x8 tent? Now have seedlings,6 weeks and 11 weeks old plants...all different strains.

Best way IMO? at least 2 spaces/tents. One for sprouting/cloning/veg, and another for flower. You can harvest your flowers, rotate the veg crop into the flower tent & then use the emptied veg tent as a perfectly controlled drying space.

If you do perpetual harvest in ONE tent, then technically you still need a 2nd space for proper drying anyway.

You can run a perfectly healthy & successful grow keeping the RH at 40-50% start to finish.
