New Grower Platinum450LED 2x4 Cash Crop AUTOS

Honestly, I couldn't say for sure because I grow organic/supersoil and don't have to flush, however, if it's still kicking out white pistils, i'd say wait until AT LEAST 75% of them have changed to orange/brown, and then flush, but i've seen varying approaches here.. Hell, some guys don't flush at all, so take it with a grain of salt.. Definitely looks like you'really gonna have a good harvest though!!!

so the pistols will change color before the trics.?

well in my limited experience they will, theyre will be new ones here and there but the majority will turn.
Once the majority have turned, start checking trichs and go from there for what you want, milky or amber or a mix.
when you see milky starting, start your flush. I think that will give you a week or two window.
At least that's about how I do it.
ive also seen a burst of new hairs after the original hairs have stopped shooting out.
But in that case you definitely watch your trichs because she's probably ready.last minute push to survive maybe !
I think you have couple weeks of fattening to do.
they look like some nice long tops my friend. I had to keep mine below 3 ft in my box.
yep they can get fat, old pic my cashcrop all trimmed out.

Daaaaaaamn!!! That's a sexy bud!!! @oldcoot How long did you run yours before you chopped that beauty??

Also from my limited experience, I have had pistils almost all turn orange, but when I checked the trichs, they were still forming and only had a small percentage of milky ones, so I wait a week and before I knew it, the entire plant looked like it had started growing again with lots of white pistils and some significant fattening.. My mentor had told me that if I'm patient enough, I could see anywhere from 20-40% bud growth in the last 2-ish weeks before harvest, so if you can hold out, then I implore you!!!

A lot of the literature I've read has said that milky trichs is the best compromise between highest THC/CBD, with the clear/full-formed trichs having only the highest THC, and then of course the ambers are the CBN/couch-lock.. Muddy has stated quite a few times that trichs aren't always indicative of completion, as the leaves will be the best sign that the plant is ready for harvest; as they begin to cannibalize themselves and turn yellow.. I you haven't, you should DEFINITELY check out the sticky he wrote titled, "When to Harvest Autos, your leaves will tell you"... It has been one of my favorite threads, and I've read through the ENTIRE thing a few times..

Yep , read it and talked about yellow leaves before harvest on some old threads.
And i have no explanation because every plant i harvested i had plenty of amber trichs and green leaves .
I simply go by my trichs, i dont know why.
Maybe dwc and not dirt ?
I do a flush but maybe its not enough and leaves still got nutes left.
Dont know, but i always have green leaves.
I think that is another debate on these forums like defol.
Oh i think 3 months on my cashcrop and i still have that bud. every grow i do is 3 months.
Once again dont know why.
Im doing a kush thats suppossed to take 70 days.
Well im at 70 now and got at least 2 weeks if not a month.

Also i never let a plant go that long.
Ive harvested with about 65% amber the lastest.
I dont want 100% amber, maybe thats it, dont know.
Haha more questions than answers !!!

lol ain't that the truth?! I was actually referring to @SMOOTHseven with the link to Muddy's sticky, but 65% amber?!?!? Sounds like a one-hit-couch kinda bud!!!! Longest auto I ran went 128 days and it ended up succumbing to mold, but trichs were about 60% cloudy, a handful of ambers, and about 50% white pistils, so I don't know what the hell happened there!!!!

I'm guessing at 65% but that plant went 4 months and I really screwed that one up.
ive got a lot of theorys but that's all they are.
you had amber with 50% white hairs, now that really has me confused.
like I said ive had almost all white hairs gone for like a week or so then a burst of new hairs while things are going amber.
But never let a plant go till all the leaves went yellow to find out.
I can only grow one at a time here so I need to get while the gettings good !
I hope I'm not telling you wrong here,if the white pistils have been coming out nonstop daily then yeah, keep feeding.
If its like a reborn burst after the lull, check trichs soon.
my best guess.

@oldcoot @GodAmJT That is a mighty impressive bud you have.
This is my first grow and i suppose the trichs are a bit of a science or a skill developed over time.
My expectations is to get somewhere in between.
All the information on AFN has said that the last 2 weeks, drying and curing are the most difficult and critical to the quality of your finished product.
From the zillions of pics i have seen i think she looks young still.
I got the microscoap today. I know what im looking at as to the colors is a bit difficult. most look swollen and cloudy, some small and clear.
I take it after a week or 2 the smaller clear ones will develop into swollen cloudy and the cloudy will become amber?
I'd say 60/40 in favor of milky now
she still drinks 3/4 gallon or 2700 ml a day

Thanks for the information guys. I'll see where we are in a couple days and let you know.
