So not too bad if you can supply the voltage and your grow area is not too large!

What is the coverage/ penetration like for these models? How do they compare to hid in coverage? And how does the penetration compare to LEDs?

Saw those a while ago Scarhole.
The price for the light minus the extra Kessels is $1400!

Ouch!

As for Chinese suppliers, so far i have just found this:

They sell the emitters and drivers it seems, not the whole fixture.
I wonder if you need the fancy fixture for more than housing the electronics and cooling fans?
