Plant the solo cups or slide out?

I've got 5 sproutings on day 2 above ground that I have in solo cups,
The cups have parts of the sides cut off and are then set inside another cup with drainage at the bottom,
Am I better to use the modified cups or just slide them out of the cups and into the pot,

Want the tap root to go straight down to bottom of the pot and not the bottom of the cup, or will it have reached the bottom already, and I should just use the cups to stop stress, any help much appreciated

slide out
roots depend on age of seedlings..doesnt take long to reach the bottom.

Started to germ them on Tuesday in water for 30 hours then tissue for 24 hours then planted onThursday into cups when they had just 1mm/2mm of a tail,
Thankyou

I just cut away the bottom. Slice one of the sides and slide it into the new home

I have them as all cut at the sides but not the bottom, and set inside another cup,
I might do that, slice off the bottoms (GENTLY)
Thankyou

That's the way I've run now for about 2 yrs. 2 solos, one with the bottom cut out. Transplant slide off the outside cup and plant. Really helps getting the lowers up and away from the bag making feeding and normal maintenance easy.

I've done them with slices and totally repotted them out of the cups I've never noticed any difference just be careful

If I planted it on Thursday and it's day 2 above ground now, will I risk damaging anything if slice the bottom off the cups?
I've sections cut away from the sides, or will it be ok to plant it without the bottom sliced off

I'd probably take the bottoms off. . You should be fine clipping them now, carefully.
