Some of the rejects I put under the HPS to make use of the wasted side lighting and give my select females more breathing room and access to light are starting to look like theyll produce some decent buds ill be chopping around day 65-80 to put into my jars :p and of course for dabbery! :smoking::hookah:

Note: all of them are purple and frosty but they are low yielders

Gunna start feeding full strength now since were in the final stretch, fungus gnats are annoying but not causing any real harm.
Seeds are maturing on her and shes starting to fill in now.

UPDATE Group [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]
Been crazy busy lately so I have not been on top of logging this second group but theyre really starting to get going now! some of the bigger gals are already forming up some nice flowers. 100% of these girls are purple, 100% of Group 1 are purple I would say that after 7 generataions of selection and inbreeding I have made at least that 1 trait homozygous within this population!!!! :D

Jameson gals still doing well, couple more weeks and she will be gracing my bong with her lovely buds :)

How long does it usually take to isolate a trait?

How long does it usually take to isolate a trait?

depends on a ton of factors, you could theoretically do it within 3 generations but in the real world its a whole hell of a lot more complicated than on paper and this 1 trait (bud color) has taken me up until this 7th generation to achieve....bleeppink.png so it can be awhile lol especially for cannabis because of the way it reproduces and the breeding practices used by many breeders (polyhybridization)
