Lol, you cant do any worse to me than ive done myself! im grateful for the opportunity to see the process, especially pollination . would you mind telling me why you dusted with pollen and sprayed them with the cs/tm solution ? i ask questions to try and learn. would like to make seeds one day

its awesome to be able to plant your own seeds and produce bud you know you enjoy, I totally get that. I ask a shit ton of questions myself lol so not a problem :)

Certainly, I dusted the buds forming on about the third node down (Pure F7 Male Pinkie pollen) so they're still quasi-part of the main cola and get plenty of light to develop and mature properly. The seeds from the dusted female will be regular F8 M/F seeds that I will use for further development of Pinkie Pie ( I plan to try and perfect her over the next 25-50 years and grow her and her crosses for life) I also started feminizing a couple lower branches on that female because she is the ideal plant I am trying to create as far as I can tell so far. If your wondering why I would need Regs if I have Fems that's because even though im all for feminizing and I think its an awesome tool there really just isn't data on using it long term in a breeding project, so rather than take chances with my bread and butter im gunna play it safe and do it the way its been done since long before I came along.:growing:

I normally pollinate with a paintbrush but im pretty sure the dogs got hold of them cuzz I cant find them anywhere so I had to use this instead, it was so so. I prefer it unfluffed personally lol

That answered my questions . i have learned something today , thank you!

Ive been pretty busy as of late so I haven't had time to post updates like I should but some very exciting things are happening that I need to record and that i would like to share with everyone the plant I said was "the one" has trichomes everywhere you could imagine, some of the dark purples are shaping up very nicely, and for the first time I am almost positive of it, its faint but I have my first indoor pink pistil plant staring to color up!!!

This males about ready to drop pollen and just in time to pollinate my special ladies and get lots of primo F8 regs to work with!

in not so great news, this second round of plants (different mothers than group 1) have produced a much higher rate of intersex plants then the first group which I think had zero.... something to consider down the line. Nothing out of the ordinary but noticeable. I have removed all but 24 of the strongest females to develop alone in there respective 1 gallon pots and have arranged them around the light smallest to largest. There were 6 females that were culled but were perfectly good, just got beat out by a node or something trivial like that, so I kept them and transplanted (roughly) into little see through boston market cups just to see if they develop into anything of worth.

Found a mutant too, grows leaves in 3s instead of the normal 2, will wtch to see how she develops.

Think I got up to [HASHTAG]#17[/HASHTAG] before I ran out of stickers lol
Finally tally is 22 Vigorous females in 1 gallon pots, 6 less vigorous girls in cups, raised the light and upped the cycle from 14/10 to 18/6

I also removed the weakest (flowering) 4 from group 1 and have them on the edges of group 1 to collect unused light and allow my Keeper females more room to grow properly (air circulation and light)

Girls frosty as hell, beautifully colored, nice aroma, crusty (vs slick) with trichs, and very healthy. AMAZING UPDATE!!!! she is also starting to put off slightly purple pistils on the lower popcorn buds so she may develop some pistil color before this grows done!!!

doing pretty well for having another plant in her same pot with her, might be snuffing him out today tho to allow this girl to grow properly and develop lots of pollen+ seeds.
