New Grower Photosensitive! Cheese and Purple Haze scrog!

Wooo! Day 21 of 12/12

Plants are going crazy! So many pistils, so much bloom!

Their scent profiles are starting to speciate.

The Purple Haze smells a lot like my Think Different plants. It's sweet like sugar and Skittles, but has an even more floral quality to it. When it first hits my nose, it's like jasmine flowers and candy.

The Cheese smells... LIKE CHEESE! It's not very complex to me, but it's definitely interesting. It's such a strong flat cheese note on the entire draw. As soon as you're not inhaling it, that brick of generic cheese vanishes and leaves only a subtle grassy smell. I couldn't guess what *kind* of cheese it smells like. It's almost funky, but in a gotta-smell-dat-some-mo way. :P

It's fascinating to me how different terpene profiles can convey such drastically different aromas. What a beautiful plant cannabis is.

Got some up-close flower shots. First is Purple Haze, then Cheese.

Day 28!

The plants have been on 12/12 lighting for 4 weeks now. Everything is going pretty perfect. My temperature and humidity are right where I want them, and the plants seem to be thriving with no signs of burn or deficiency. I've been keeping their feeds very simple. Mostly Biothrive Bloom and Biobud as per the feeding chart. Sometimes I add a few ml of the add-ons like the squid or camg+, but Biothrive seems to have all the bases covered on its own.

The smells are getting even stronger. Cheese smells like a box of Cheez-Its, while the Purple Haze smells just like how jasmine green tea tastes. :)

Looking great Frog loving the macro shots covered in frost already :) mine is just a day or 2 behind yours, it's also starting to smell mines on the sweetness side like your purple haze. Definitely a smell and taste for a connoisseur smoker

Did you ever order scales in the end ? I still haven't made my mind up on one if you've got one lemme know if you'd recommend it thanks

Thanks for reminding me! I forgot that I meant to do that. Trying to find some decent light hangers. Had a near heart attack trying to clean my prefilter yesterday.

I've been having a quick look and found a site for jewelry scales and found some of the best going from 30/40$ for 0.01 gram accuracy and a 30 year warrenty ! And some ridiculous ones cost 100 but offering 0.00001 accuracy lol but the first one looks just right it can weigh 700g at 0.1 or 0.01 at 200grams so its more than qualified here's the link : http://balance.balances.com/scales/450

I'll be ordering one Thursday so if I get mine before you get one I'll let you know how good it is

Day 35 of flowering

Meant to make this post yesterday, woops.

Had a pretty bad week. The prefilter in my tent became clogged, so my exhaust wasn't working properly. Temps were up to 82F for a few days. Then my old rig for hanging my light failed while putting it back up. Was able to save the plants from any damage. PHEW! But they went two days without LED while I sourced some legit hangers. Just had 4 x 45 watt CFL's in worklight reflectors. Plants seemed fine, but this is such an important time for budding that I was upset to not be maximizing my light at the right time.

While dropping my light and directing it away from my plants, it fell right on the floor, hard. Still works perfectly. Opened it up and cleaned the glass, everything is unharmed. Tough light :)

In other news, finally got myself some fulvic acid from Bioag. Gave them some plain water with fulvic yesterday, let's see what happens.

Despite my idiocy, the plants are still making me proud. ^_^
