Phenotypes and Back crossing (BX).

I sent you all contact request, I'm new here, I don't know a lot about breeding but I want to learn, I want to learn how to cross my regular strains with auto strains to the point I get stable autos with the highs of my current strains. I consider it a great honor to be here.:toke::toke:

Hey dvs welcome to the site :D Crossing an auto to a photo will create a wide variance of offspring. Most of the F1 offspring will be photos and early finishers, a rare select few could auto. Inbreeding siblings of the cross can stabilize the auto trait while maintaining photo characteristics. By F2 you should snag some autos which you can select to further the line. By F4-F5 you should have a stable auto.

thanks, I'm going to start with crossing the autos I have, and getting me a good seed stock of autos, then I'll be trying the auto x photo and back crossing, unless I'm happy with the results of my autos,,,, an auto indica crossed with a different strain of auto indica should give me all auto seeds shouldn't it? possibly hybrids with hybrid vigor....

this is the 2 strains I'm crossing White Widow autoflowering is the cross of our best male Critical+ Autoflowering with the original White Widow clone.

We managed to reflect the bitter-sweet taste, as well as the lots of resin and the floral appearance of the original White Widow mother in this autoflowering. The only remarkable difference is the higher CBD content, which leads to a more physical buzz than in the regular White Widow strain.

The leaves are broad, dark green and covered with resin. When you barely touch the leaves, it releases a deliciously captivating aroma. Buds are large, thick, hard, compact, with few leaves and loaded with resin.

The sexual stability of the plants is extremely important, to avoid hermaphroditism, so we discarded the male and female plants that were not pure. After two years of work, selecting only the best plants among thousands of seeds in each generation, we are now sure that this new line is stable, uniform and of greatest quality.

YIELD: 40 to 160 gr

HIGHT: 50 to 110 cm

SPEED OF FLOWERING: 75 days

Short Stuff Seeds Snowryder is a 100% auto flowering strain, a hybrid of Lowryder and Snow White. This strain carries a powerful punch and is without a doubt one of the strongest Auto Flowering strains to date, Heavy Crystaling is a trade mark of snowryder, Trichomes even appear on the males ! The taste and smell of this strain is very similar to Snow white / White widow so is sure to please. Yield is Avarage (15g - 25g under flouros per 6" pot) and the plants stay short (12" - 14") Short Stuff Snowryder is ready to harvest 10 weeks from planting.

what do you guys think? also if I self pollinate either of them with themselves (using a mail flower off the female) will this give me good seeds?:buds:

Breed your plant to auto f4 or f5 then BX then work again to auto.. This way your strain will be more white widow..

:smokebuds:
thanks, if I understand, I cross my 2 strains, grow these and breed the new plants together for 4 generations, then cross back with the white widow auto,,, is that anywhere near correct,, I've been studying breeding but I don't have a very good grasp on it, and again thank you for the response

no your white widow is a photo now right? breed the WW to auto then cross back to the original clone of WW then take to auto again...

ok cool, but both of the strains I have are auto, one is white widow auto from dinafem seeds the other is called snowrider auto from shortstuff seeds,,,, I do have some photos I'd like to turn into autos though..... so crossing my 2 autos will should give me fairly good all auto seeds?

I Hope to cross the KVS and HBD that i about to get with auto assassin that i got stored

I made fem kvs seeds from 1 female kvs and 1 female kvs that I sprayed with cs and used to pollinaite the other. I grew the seeds I made from the 2 kvs and then used pollin I saved from the "father" kvs to pollinate the new kvs. will this give me more stability in the taste/smell pheno then crossing 2 new kvs together?
