Indoor ph run off problems help please!

so guys i got some garden lime today. Now do i have to wait till i next feed (had feed last night 2.6litres with bloom grow and calmag) and feed with nutes or just phd water and to ph 6.8? im thinking of sprikling 3tablespoons on the top of the soil? Or shall i add the lime today and feed with like 1litre of phd water :peace: Si

just a little advice needed on the lime ive just bought please :o:o

3tbl spoons would be enough i think dude, and i would wait till next feed so not to over water her :D

Sorry Squid, it's a teaspoon per quart for foliar feeds, a tablespoon per gallon for regular feeds.

Ah damn, sorry everyone! Yes I was thinking of per Gallon instead of foliar's. My bad. Thanks Mr. Waters as always.

Edit: And IME, you don't want to add any more nutes to those feeds since we're just trying to get your ph back up in range. Over nuting can just cause more problems, you can put in all the nutes you want, but if your ph is off then the plant cannot uptake said nutes.

So I would just feed with plain ph water with lime ph'd to 6.8 like gg has stated. Working it into the top can work too. I personally have never done either by the way, but if I did I would add it to the water and go that way, it's up to you. Either is fine I say.

But if you add it to the water do not add 3 Tblsp per Gallon, more like one Tblsp. per Gallon. Lime contains calcium and too much can light your roots up in a bad way.

Then when we get your ph back in range you will notice a difference because it will then be able to start eating the nutes that you have already been feeding it. And when you know it's back up around 6.5 then go back with the feeds. Just my opinions here. Nutes pull your ph down too, keep that in mind. So that's another reason why I wouldn't add any to the water that you're raising your ph with, just wait, it'll be fine because the ph should be back up within a single week.

Good point squid!
Jus thought that cus he using organics?

I see what you mean. But that can build up too, so I just would go clean until the ph is back on point.

I thought by top feeding i.e sprinkling on top takes allot longer to break down, by adding it to the water im sure it would be more readly avalible. Plus by sprinkling over once its in there you have no real way of gauging how much was needed. By monitoring how much you add by water your taking more control.
My 2 pennys worth. :)

I just see what mix and nutes ya using mate. Lil heads up to how i do my thing and it mihht help you out later on.
My tap water comes out at 8.5 and dont drop much left over night so just before i go to feed them i ph down the water. I only have to add 0.5ml of this stuff to get me to a ph of 7.0.
According to bio bizz thats the magic number.
Once i have 7.0 i then add the nutes. Add the alg a mag and top max, and the ph falls to 6.5
Im not to sure what the top max does to the ph and it seems thats the only thing we have differnt.
Maybe this helps, maybe not but seeing as we use the same stuff i thought id share

Have a look at my recent post, ive wrote up a report on what 2 of them were fed today.
From what im reading on allot of posts with bio bizz is people getting the water down to 6.5 and then adding everything. The ph goes down when you add ya goodies. I was the same untill i started to check the ph of the water just before feeding and my ph was down to 5.8
Always ph to 7 imo.
I am adding more bloom and alg a mag than you which may make the ph differ but im on day 32-33 and its not burnt them at all. my effin problems hermis right now. bastard things lol
