I'm in need of a little advice as to what kind of Ph pen/meter to purchase. I'm still using drops because my current Ph meter is a big fat liar. Its a cheap, non user friendly POS. I think it hates me. Maybe its jealous of the ppm pen. I think I even overheard it planning a coup d'état with the retired junk soil tester. :toke: but seriously what is a good meter for under $75.?

I use Eco tester 3.0. It was $80 at hydro store so prob a lot cheaper online

This is what I use.
Works awesome.
45 bucks.

I have a 200 dollar Meter that I don't use.
All the previous suggestions are good, but this one is a bit cheaper I think and works great.

You can get them from Ebay, or Eseasongear.com.

Do you know if that model requires Hannah brand of calibration and storage solution?

no it does not, any calib. fluid will work, along with storage solution....

Thank you everyone for your input. I now have a starting point thanks to y'all. Before I was pretty damn confused as there are so many out there. As soon as whatever comes in this current POS is getting mashed.

Just make sure it has 3 way calibration. They all might I don't know

I've found just a one point calibration to be fine most times (7.01)
2 point is plenty. 3 point is just more fluids to buy.
4.01 and 7.01 2 point calibration is good.
Imho.
