Whats up everyone...i figured this would be a good place to post a question about my ph pen.

i have a HM Digital ph-200 that ive had since 2007. it has always calibrated and worked great till now.

the batteries died after all these years of use and i keep absolutly great care of it. the probe has never dried and is stored in the original box set upright at all times.

so i changed the batteries out on the pen stuck it in my 7.0 cal soution, it was reading 8.64 and i pushed calibrate and it calibrated it to 10.0. ive looked on the site and through other forums but have not come across an answer.

anyone know how to get this pen back to 7.0???

any suggestions or answers are highly GREATLY appreciated!!!

thanks AFNlogo

It might be time to get a new pen. Sorry Iv got no proper advice on how to fix it

Take a reading in some vinegar then clean it well and try the 7 solution again and if it doesn't go to seven I would say you are in need of a knew one.
