How in the Dickens do growers expect to follow any of these cookie cutter feeding schedules? "Water daily w/2ml per liter of this and 1ml of that."

What ever happened to looking at your plants and responding to what you see? Water them when they're dry whenever that is. Given your local temps and humidity and medium porosity and lighting conditions not to mention the plants' immediate consumption intake, that can be 1-4 days or more. There's more to risk watering (or feeding) too much. (Anyone try Mosquito Bits?) And more to risk overfeeding. I'd rather any day see some yellowing on a lower leaf than the insidious burning of over feeding. The former is much easier to reconcile. Get into lockout esp w/autos and good luck turning it around. Not all strains feed the same.

I'm no whiz that's for sure. Just saying, the audience to whom feed schedules are directed would be better served to watch their plants than watch a schedule. If the plant wants water and it's perfectly green it's ok to give it water with Calmag to 120ppm period. Now that's an easy schedule! It'll be fine.

The schedules are meant as general guidelines, not as a concrete "YOU HAVE TO DO THIS OR -ELSE-" It's likely considered a general rule to most to start ANY new nutrient regiment with autoflowers at 1/4 strength regardless, just to test how they respond. So really,
What ever happened to looking at your plants and responding to what you see?
, this still does come into play in my opinion. :d5: One nutrient regiment for one strain may not work for the next as well, so again you just have to see how things respond and make your adjustments from there.
