DIY pc case carbon filter

a friend has a pc grow going and smell started to become a prob so being geto i made him a filter did not have time to take pics at the time so im gona try to do a half assed job of trying to do it in paint shop here goes u will need 5 (you could use more)pc fans all the same size only 2 need to work ok take 3 of them and do this


now silicone them in a stack keeping the corner holes aligned now take your two working fans and silicone flyscreen to both sides of of them making shure to keep it tight ok now i used m5 threaded rod cos i had it you could use cable ties one fan at each end of the stack i put one fan on the ground with the threaded rods sticking up then the 3 that i siliconed togther filled with carbon the last fan on top and tighten it up one fan sucking and the one other blowing this was bolted to the back of his pc case been doing fine for almost 4 weeks note you do need quite rigged flyscreen hope this helps someone
