Indoor Party Cup Transplants

Hey I know quite a few members on here are leaving there autos in the party cups and transferring them to larger pots. Wondering how many do this and what the results were vs regular transplanting. Also how much of the cup do you prefer to bury.

I didn't start in a party cup, but rather in a small pot, probably ~1ltr. I cut the bottom out and then placed it in some new soil in a bigger pot. I burried about one third of the smaller pot in the new soil just so it would be sturdy and not fall around.

It took about 4 days for my ER to decide that she liked the new space and soil and then she took off again just fine.
