Hello friends, this is my first time grow and i'm about 3 weeks 3 days in since planting my amnesia haze auto into FFOF soil.

I was doing some LST today and the branch partially snapped so I put tape around the wound to hopefully salvage it.

Here are some pictures: 20200928_101130.jpg20200928_101123.jpg

I was wondering if it was normal for it to be droopy and pretty much dead looking only a couple of minutes from wounding. Will it be possible for it to bounce back? Thank you for your help!

Yes, very possible. I've done some real bad ones & they recovered well. You will always see some drooping, but if it last for any more than a few days, then i would just top it.

Hey mate, any sort of tape, wrapped around a stick either side of the break is good also to make sure it stays up, i had a bit accident in a previous grow the whole pot fell off the table so the plant she had some damage, a few splits and that she was good to go, needs to be enough for it to mend

Farmers have sheds full of tools they may not need for years but when the time comes they have what they need.

Case in point Grafting tape may have saved the day. We have all broken our plants (or will). I have done some grafting work in the past so I have the knowledge of how to use the tape. It is a lot like the elastic bandage they use on your arm now. It has a bit of stretch that allows a good cinch. The wax both seals and breaths so the plant can heal fast. Good stuff to have on hand:

Someone here was doing a complete graft the other day? I cannot remember who that is!

Anyhow your plant will be fine.

@GreenSwordsman :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:Just noticed you are a new member! I might be stoned .
Hahaha. who here isn't?!
Thanks for the warm welcome, I will definitely pick up some grafting tape for future breaks but this one was mostly my mistake. I taped it back poorly so it ended up dying and i just cut it off.

other than that, she seems to be doing okay!

Well MOG said it before I could, but I will reiterate his sentiment. Grafting tape, research how to best use it with your situation.
