ParfactWorks, Zeusol ZE250 Test/Review

:toke:
Hello again fellow growers!

I have checked 3000k, 5000k, and the combined PPFD values with the Phantom PhotoBio Quantum PAR meter. Measurements were taken at the direct center at 12, 18, and 24 inches.

The results are as follows:

From Left to Right
COMBINED, 3000K, 5000K

Form your own opinions, but I am very impressed with the results. Keep in mind that this test is without results for IR and UVA. In my experience the added UVA has a significant effect on increasing terpenes and potency.

First Impression Summary

Upon taking the ZE250 out of the box, what becomes completely apparent is the all around exceptional build quality. The finish was completely unblemished, and it has a heft that doesn't feel cheap in the slightest. The lights lock solidly to the driver body with zero play, once locked into place. The heavy duty metal dimmer knobs seem to be of higher quality. The dimmer themselves are very responsive, responding at the first slight turn from off. They're buttery smooth, and without any type of play. So far, I am thoroughly impressed with the unit.

Thanks for stopping by fellow growers !

I really like how much control the 3 dimmers give, but I'm probably not knowledgeable enough to set them separately.

Because of the way the bars mount to the ballast box it doesn't look easily possible to remote the ballast.

Starting seedlings I try to have a balanced spectrum, 30% blues, 70% 3000k/reds. Then 50/50 for veg(even a 70% blue works fine(will make for short node spacing)) and about week 5 or so while in stretch flowering I go back to 70% 3000k/reds and then in deep flowering I go to nearly 100% 3000k/reds. Use that as a general guideline as our lights are not the same but they do use the same general idea.
