I really want to get to the bottom of this also. I’m currently running my main room at 17/7 just wanted to see if 1 hour would change things. I’m running Mephisto for the first time, so it will be thought to judge. I have 5 Forgotten cookies and four will head into a new QB room to flower in 2 weeks. I’m going to run that room at 16/8 until the end. I’ll leave the single FC behind with other plants in the 17/7. Unfortunately there will be other variable differences but I want to test reducing the light in flower. 12/12 would be great to save money but my thought would be 14 hours will be where yields will drop. It will take a few cycles to get an answer but it’s on my list of things I want to know this year.

I think to some degree the diurnal clock or whatever of autos makes the lighting cycle less important. I've heard people say plants on 24/0 look beat up. We flower on 12/12 with photos and Ace seeds even recommends on some of their landrace sativa that you head towards a 10/14 schedule.

But does my Northern Lights Auto look rough? 24/0 the whole grow? That's two plants

No doubt in my mind 24/0 works well. Not sure you’d get the same results if that was 12/12. But can I get the same at 14/10 that I do at 18/6. I’m skeptical but hoping 16/8 is actually very healthy.

Well I'm just saying that regardless of the light schedule these autos will thrive in the right environment.

I follow this chart .... Seems to be working well .... Sam’s Crack is in Flower now so temps and humidty have been dialed down and as she progresses through they will get lower, especially RH ..... co2 also plays role in temp/RH and light levels .... more co2 higher PPFD generally plants can handle which means deeper penetration down into the canopy

73 / RH 46 co2 1035 ..... 2-3ish weeks remain - Freebe Seed, no history available

Somethings off with those percentages

If 203 votes = 18.8% how can 86 votes = 35.8%

Nevermind. I see it’s just a typo on the number of votes. I went back and took a screenshot of the results to that poll.

I sat here more than once wondering about those darn percentages myself. Now that the numbers have been corrected, 18/6 seems much more widely used than appeared before.
