Hi all,
First grow. Coco and perlite with organic fert and have just changed to Bloom nutes with added microbes and molasses all pH adjusted.

Are the red leaf stems a P deficiency or just the strain? CBD Hash Plant which had the seeds labelled as autos but pretty sure they are photoperiod.

If they are deficient do I add a bit more of the bloom nutes or something else?

Thanks

Red/purple stems are pretty common imo. I wouldn't worry about it unless you see signs on your leaves. Plant looks nice and healthy to me, and as long as she looks like that I'd say keep doing what your doing [emoji16]

It can be a sign of low P, but it can also be a genetic trait. If it worries you, slurry test the medium to make sure it's in range. That's about all I do, if pH and ppm are in range, I'd lean genetic.

Thanks for the feedback. No idea about slurry testing so looks like there is yet more homework.

Just before your gonna feed, scoop out a tbsp of medium or so, mix in = amount of the water you use, let set for about 5 to 10 minutes and gently put in the pH meter and ppm meter and take readings. This is where your plant is feeding, and will give you an accurate look at what's available there. Run off can give an inaccurate result.

I'll add, from the picture, I'm not seeing a lot to be concerned about, she's a purdy girl. But I do check slurry a couple times a grow just to be ahead of anything.

One other thought, are you getting plenty of runoff when feeding? If not, you can develop a salt buildup. I usually get 20 to 25% back every time.
