Overfeed? Maybe P deficiency

Indeed squid. Even with tap water is hard to me to distinguish the colors mate (to be honest i'm gonna show this stuff to the animal store to they can tell me their opinion about the color eheh), but unfortunately to get a digital PH i have to order it. I'm gonna get one in a week or two for sure.

And mate, in portuguese pita is a name that we gave to young girls that like to take pics showing their neckline on facebook, young "stupid" girls, etc etc :D

Agito, what does MG means?

Well, i might have done worse when giving her plain water 2 days ago. But thats cool, making mistakes to learn :)

Dwarven my friend you need to test the run off water of the vase aswell. If it's a ph imbalance like Muddy said you'll only make worse by adding more fertiliser. I've sent you a pm regarding this.

To be on the safe side you might want to consider a flush with very mild P nutrient base and then next week re starting your P feed fullthrottle.

For 30€ you can buy a good ph meter from Hanna Instruments online! I think they have a store near by you. Check their website! It's at Povoa de Varzim :)

haha. That's funny about the PITA. And the Mg that agito is referring to is Magnesium.

As Hugo said, you need to check the run off before you add any more nutrients. Your water isn't too bad and with the nutrients added should be in a descent range, or maybe a bit low. Give it water and catch what comes out of the bottom of the pot. Test the pH of that and let us know what it is.

What is your soil mix?

Oh my friends, a really pain in the ass! Measuring the PH of the run off water with liquid test is screwed.
The run off water was a light yellow, when i've made the PH test it turns a more dark yellow. Supposedly it's 5.5 PH.

Muddy i've double potted this plant. First i've used a light mix from biobizz, but when i've double potted it i've made the mistake of use another type of soil. This soil has:

  • N 200-400 mg/L
  • P 200-500 mg/L
  • K 300-500 mg/L
  • KCI < 3 g/L

Dwarven, one way to get a better colour is dropping more test drops than recommended. The colours will be stronger.

Hugo i've done the test again with more drops and the yellow color is a bit more dark but remains on 5.5 range

If you gave ph'd 6.5/7 and run off is 5.5 that means that soil ph is lower than recommended. It might be lower than 5.5.

You need to flush the soil until you have a ph run off of 6/6.5 approximately. Do you know what is your tap water ph? What size are the pots?

Tap water is around 6.5 and the pots together have 3-4 gals.
As i've watered her half an hour ago i guess i should flush her now

there will be ph buffer in the fert to bring it down you need to add something to the soil (powdered egg shells for example) or to the water to get your runoff up to 6.5-7.0 but measuring run off in soil is not an exact science. Low Ph could also mean root rot from over watering also.
so you would ph your water before use to 7.0-7.5 to bring the water run off ph up 6.5-7.0
