Grow Mediums Over/Underwatering in air pots

i may call it watering, but i feed every time.My logic being i dont have to remember if its a feed or a water coming up.Biobizz nutes are on the gentle side compared with some chem nutes, biobizz being organic (but it comes outa a bottle so not 100% on that)
the pale green lower 1/4 could be lack of N a lower chance it could be cal.mag...........but more likely a slight side effect to the lack of watering/feeding.
ph is fine, with biobizz if yer feed/water in is ballpark, runoff will be ballpark/PH dont go from 7 to 4 for no reason,if feed in is somewhere between 5.8 and 7.3 ya should never have a reason nor need to do a test more than once a grow.
bio heaven is expensive, have gone through 2 bottles and to be honest if or whatever it does aint worth 1/4 of the price tag.
i get lazy through the week,i water too quick causing some to spill over, some finds a crack and runs right out the bottom(fake runoff),some squirts me through a hole.At weekends i water/feed slower, could walk away half way through and come back again to finish.sometimes i can squeeze in an extra 0.5L into a 6L pot with minimal runoff.
but my key factor is weight of pot, keep lifting them up and down, before and after watering.soon you get a feel for a....
dry pot/and a pot with 0.5 :pighug: /1/1.5/2/3/4L worth of water....ignore the plant size.keep lifting up and down the pots.
at that age think id be on 1.5 calmag.maybe a tad light on grow/bloom i dont know let me just consult a real rough schedule that i never look at
hmm calmag maybe not.....but every plant is differnt,so an extra 0.5 of calmag is fairly harmless, whang it upto 2ml for a week or 2 as calmag can be a hard one to chase after.

root juice...i dont rate it bottles empty getting no more.after my grow ran out i switched to fish mix.heaven i wasnt convinced so like an eejit tried a second bottle.tds was just me experimenting with a thing i got for £6 can be ignored in soil.
grower v stoner ratio G:S is it 4:1 or 1:4 ? stoner logic works for me.
good luck n keep er lit

I've only been giving 0.5ml calmag so going to up that to 1.5ml for the next few feeds and I think you may be right that the feed is a little weak because she is stretching alot she is now at 45cm while in the stretch phase and she was heavily lst'd around the pot in week 3 and 4 so would probably be very tall at this stage if no training was done and in air pots with cob led the plants tend to stay quite short so she is a big auto.

As for the bio heaven I won't buy anymore myself as it is way too expensive and like you say not sure if it really does too much.

Looking at the plant today seems to be much greener and the lower part of plant not yellow just some of the typical calcium def signs on some of the leafs as you can see.

As always thanks for the help man

@boaty mcboatface Hey man just looking for a quick opinion. I'm confused at the moment as to whether my plant looks like its lacking or has an excess of nutes still. 3 days ago I ran a combination of ph'd water and light feed about 7.5 litres in total through the pot and got lots of run off which was quite high ppm which I know aint that relevant using organic nutes but was reading around 2800ppm

The plant seems to have gotten paler but is still drinking up water at normal pace as 20l air pot is pretty light after being saturated 3 days ago and flowering is happening at a slightly faster pace now so seems like the light feed and extra water got things moving. As you know I underwatered around week 6-7 and wasn't watering to run off so some nutes probably built up then.

Last post was a week ago before the mini flush/light feed and pictures below are yesterday so I am thinking of maybe running a couple litres extra through pot again when I water tonight with a balanced light feed but open to other suggestions based on what you see in the pictures.

if the runoff wasnt crystal clear, with all sediment removed, and when the tds pen was put in no clouds ? as tds pens measure particals in the water, needs to be filtered/strained a million times or the result will be scewwiff.there aint no dust/soil particals in dwc/drain to waste, flush n drain.ebb n flow, lava rocks, and that stuff that looks like the inside of a 70's cushion, and to a certain extent coco.So i question the very very high results/pinch of salt.If the reading was true then with 2800 id expect at least burnt tips and or a nute tox rather than a def.
last pic in privios post plant looking pretty much spot on with just a few blemishes.
latest pics im thinking....keep up with the calmag.cal tiny spots/mag a light blotchyness.as buds forming crowns theres a need for more bloom,a smidge of purpling stems can sometimes be a sign of needing more hmm is it P or K ?think its P either or its more of the bloom bottle than the grow bottle.or increasing the bloom as ya back off the grow.
4th opinion and all that.
good luck n keep er lit

Thanks man at around day 65 now and plant is good I gave her a flush with about 15l of ph 6.5 water and then gave a nutrient feed of 1ml Calmag, 1ml Grow, 2ml Bloom, 2ml Topmax, 1ml Algamic and that was 4 days ago.

Today I fed with 0.5ml Calmag, 1ml Grow, 3ml Bloom, 3ml G.O Biobud, 2ml Topmax and it took 6 litres of feed to get 10% runoff off today roots are packed in there going to be a nice big plant.

I just decided to get the nute level down low as I was not 100% sure what was going on with plant whether it was a lockout or deficiency.

the cystal clear thing....i was meaning clear like a dark rum/free from all floaty particals, runoffs never gonna be crystal clear clear.
day 65 she a good size, nice beefy trunk.
The plant has had a period of underwatered....and possible slightly underfed a few weeks ago to.Has had a mini flush or two.
A lockout occurs when ph is off,or to much of a particular nute vlocking out the uptake of another nute.I dont think we have a lockout.A toxicity is too much of a nute, dont think its had a strong enough feed for that,no burnt tips/dark dark green shiny leatherery new growth.
Other than size it looks similar to a plant of mine,a bit tatty where it dried out a bit to much on one of them days i forgot to water,a few mucky leaves.A few tiny spots (cal)and a bit of a patchy blotchyness to some leaves (mag).A little bit of saw blade effect to a few of the top leaves, that can be temps/humidity.i see a spray gun...im not a fan of them(i have overwatered seedlings yo death with just a spray gun) defo not when in flower.

The tips of leaves are burnt for sure man thats why I decided to do the mini flush then give a balanced feed. I think that the underwatering played havoc with things it was after this that nutrients appeared to be locking out I think I starting giving the bloom a bit too soon as I thought the stretch was done and could have had too much pk too soon im guessing which locked other nutes out.

I didn't follow one of the best pieces of advice I have gotten so far which is to wait until stretch is fully finished with autos before adding bloom it really improves yields I have found.

As always thanks for the advice heres hoping next run won't give me such a headache. I am looking forward to this amnesia its starting to smell like mandarins now.

Keep up the good work
