OK...first attempt at a grow journal, I've been learning so much on this forum it's awesome! I usually grow photo's indoors during the winter months, but wanted to add some autoflowers in the summer here (Midwest 44.8 latitude) 
Fast Buds - 2 Rhino Ryder's
Dinafem - 2 Blue Critical Auto
Nirvana - 1 Freebie Short Ryder
I'm starting them indoors, it's still 2 weeks out until frost scares are gone
I start with mixing Happy Frog soil and Coco Coir together (70/30), amend rain water with 1ml seaweed extract and .5ml Humic Acid per gallon and wet soil thoroughly (PH 6.4). Let sit for a few days while I start the seeds.
1 cup rain water in glass jar(s) labeled, 1 drop seaweed extract, PH (6.2), and let seeds soak and sink for 24 hrs in warm dark area. Move to plates with napkins soaked in rain water, cover and put in warm dark area. Checked in 24 hours and all were cracked, some were rockin' with a tail
Drain off any excess water out of soil until damp, fill 16 oz party cup with soil, drop seeds in around 1/4" - 3/8" deep and lightly cover....1 TBS rain water to set in. Put cups in germination tray with seedling heat mat, covered with clear tray, hang 2 100 watt CFL's in deflectors about 6" from cover, set timer for 18 hours on. Temp ranges from 74 - 79 and humidity is 70 - 80%.
Within 36 hrs, I had 3 of 5 poking out of the soil, I can see the 4th pushing, praying for the 5th soon (Dinafem Blue Critical). Watered 1 TBS rain water on each, just to keep things moist, but opened up the vents a bit.
I will have some pics Monday after work.
Comments? Suggestions, Way to much info?
