It doesn't make a difference and pot won't grow back. Instead of chopping down next time you should really just look for another spot or get some strong twine and bend and tie off the offending branches. When police and rangers find grows where people cut down trees they use it as an example of how disrespectful all growers are. You're not just growing pot, you're representing all of us.

I found em by them giving their position away by talking to each other and clearing their throats. Good thing I wasn't thinking aloud "or talking to myself", which I don't do too often, but I have caught myself doing it once or twice after getting a bit injured or after a near miss with a reptile. I've trained myself to be extra quite even when I just wanna jump out of my skin. Times like these make me glad I don't have a partner with me helping... a partner can always turn into a co-defendant or a theft suspect.

Yeah I feel you on remembering to not talk to yourself. When I'm alone I have no interior monologue and really have to clamp it in the bush. Luckily once I get out there i get that predatory gleam in my eye and get stealthy and quiet quick. For someone who's so clumsy in town I'm a god damn ninja out there.

This will be my first year working with someone but he's very trustworthy and has way more to lose than I do.

In holland and the UK, we have to make sure that any potential outdoor grow- site is facing south so that it gets the full arc of the sun, sunrise-sunset . (It's a huge beginners mistake in the outdoor growing scene not to do this simple thing) and yes,you use very true words about the no trees. I've grown non-autos in woods and non-autos in open sun hit places and can honestly say that the open places yield at least twice as much bud, tho are twice as likely to attract the cops and thieveas in the open they can be seen more and thus stolen more and the "eternal enemy" helicopters can of course easily spot a crop.

Happily, with autos, if one spreads out the crop, helicopters wont usually spot an auto flower growing on its own. And if one grows plants next to similar leafed plants , then one is usually ok.

Peace out.

Cool. I am looking forward to reading your journal this summer . I wil start germ in a couple of days. Mayne ten days. More super auto grow journals to the people!

stay away from the camp/water source. just dig a well with post hole diggers near your spot...solar panels, batteries, wires, hoses are not very stealthy are they?

Use dead leaves, twigs, etc from a near by area and mulch your plants to an 1" or so thick. It will look natural and keep moister in much longer move a little much aside when you water the cover again, just dampen the mulch. Get one of the military surplus water backpacks and haul in water or find a near by source to fill it from. MUCH stealthier!
