Hi everyone!
I’m new here! This is my first auto grow, my first outdoor grow, and my first grow in 10 years. So needless to say, this is a learning experience for me. I have four Alpha Wave feminized autos from Binary Selections a friend gave me planted in 5 gallon fabric pots. I used Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Perlite and an Organic Autoflower Living Soil Concentrate.
I live near the equator and it is quite stormy right now where I am, so my girls haven’t been getting anywhere near the direct sunlight I would like at this stage(they are one week from planting after germinating in jiffy pellet). I planned on it being completely outdoors with no lights, but due to the circumstances I bought some cheap 50w LEDs and have been running them supplementary at 15” to make up for the lack of sun. Is this ok? And does anyone have suggestions. Just trying to beat Mother Nature throwing me some curveballs at a crucial growth period. Thanks a lot!

Could confuse the plants, that's one thing I'd cognizant of.
Ok, so as long as I keep the same schedule I should be good? I’m turning the supplemental lights on at dusk and leaving them for 5 hours. Can’t go any longer than that as the Outdoor temperature average here is 85F+ and humidity is high. Unfortunately it’s not ideal conditions, but I’m making the best of what I’ve got. Thanks for the help and any other suggestions are appreciated!

This is 100000 percent ok! If you want to check out my grow I did that was an outdoor geeenhouse that I also had 4K watts of HID lights to run at night here is the link.

I am in Colorado and it’s sunny like 280 days a year but on the cloudy days I DEFINTELY ran my lights.

this was the result, honestly this is how I think you can get the absolute max out of autos.Give them natural light during the day then give em artificial light at night. I was able to harvest right at 11lbs in 70 days in a 84 sq ft space.

Who ever this CANNABIS CULTIVATION twat is has no fkn clue what he is talking about. An autoFlower is NOT photosensitive. It’s an AutoFlower! I can’t believe the garbage floating around the internet and I can’t believe people repeat it to other people trying to learn something new.
