Wow six feet without rock or clay no doubt you aren't in oregon my soils close to pure clay where ever I go in oregon that's what I've seen I grow in planters now an use a bagged soil with my own special amendments an what not but I definitely have a lot of memories adding stuff to clay soil never was it easy !!!.

Yea that was very easily shoveled up then hand tilled lol no not in oregon my state has some of the best soil in the world, in certain.spots. there is a article somewhere where.they specifically wanted to take soil.from my state to mars, for some reason to.do with the.soil.health lol I was like, fk that!
But where I was living 3 years ago its pure clay in any spot with sun, but I cld go into the forrest and about the top.4 inch layer was pure black gold, before you wld hit clay again, and.id.gather much as i cld each year. And the plants loved it but alot of work.
But yea that soil in that pic is truly top.shelf no.rocks no.clay, just bliss lol
