Hey brother, i had spoke on this.previously about the bad quality I get after.upload.to.this.site, Id like to.request that the live cola/dry bud pics be allowed to have a higher resolution/quality. Bc ill take a pic.on my phone thats pure beautiful.and frosted then upload on here and it looks like crap.Hey guys just getting settled for the morning here!
Hey dagger, we're not! I think it's been answered enough already but it appears you're using Tapatalk to browse the forum, which uploads files to their own directories (not ours.)
Here are our EXIF data file settings for our media gallery on the site:

You can see that we pull in file size, width, and height; those are parameters defined as such so we can limit the size of picture uploads (so members aren't trying to upload 4000 x 4000 resolution 20 mb files.) So if you're using our gallery to upload, you should be just fine.
If you look at the link of the picture you posted (that you're claiming foul on AFN for,) you can see it's actually hosted on Tapatalk, not even on AFN at all.

Simple solution would be to not use the app, or to see if there are settings within the app that are pulling the data. It's not our application though, we have no control/affiliation over it.
Blue's been one of our admin for years on the site.
I'm one of the owners of AFN and I manage all of the back-end of the site. Perhaps my words would be more credible to you (though Blue is 100% spot on.)
There is some expectation of due diligence on users posting questionable pictures on the internet (especially of cannabis grows.) We've done what we can on our end to strip any data that comes in to the media gallery (with the options that the software we use provides,) and one of our users even wrote a very thorough guide on user security if you haven't read it yet:

But at the end of the day, Tapatalk is a 3rd party application, not affiliated with AFN, and we have no control over their policies, data retention, or options allowed within their software. You are not required to use Tapatalk to browse this forum, nor is it implied anywhere on the site to do so.
Dont matter.for.plant pics, but.makes.huge difference on bud shots.
Thanks.
