Mephisto Genetics Outdoor 2015 with Mephisto Genetics!

You could rebuy every year but it would be cheaper in the long run to cover the frame with conventional greenhouse plastic if the green one does indeed disintegrate. Regardless, I agree these pop up pollytunnle/hoophouse type greenhouses provide great value for the money.

Actually, I'm also buying a bigger greenhouse this year, and getting one that’s translucent to keep prying eyes out...these with the green thread in the plastic help somewhat with staying low key. I grow tomatoes and peppers on benches by the sidewalls to disguise my canna plants. The translucent ones you can't see thru at all. I'll use the old one mostly for veggies and seedlings this year

The tunnels are from ebay - around £150 a piece.
They can be anchored down, as we get storms here too and it can be very windy at times.

the covers can be bought separately. I think for around £50 each.

but for us, if they just last this one season they will have been worth the small investment.

infact, and for us another key thing was the ease of assembly, we put the first one up together, and including some levelling of the ground , raking, then laying matting down it was a couple of hours work, then the next two were put up solely by bill, so the time and effort saving.. I can't express how much that has helped us compared to the last couple of years diy timber framed greenhouses.

We are going to get three more, then we'll set about figuring ventilation out.
we have 100 15 litre cheaper than smart pots, smart pots on the way.

should get us going in good time

Cheers

Some progress!

Cheaper than smartpots smartpots, 15 litre.
Have started way more than necessary, but intend to have 50 fems to select from, hoping to find 5-10 real nice girlies.

Medium is biobizz lightmix, used once last season, placed inside a tarp, it will be remixed, ammended with worm humus, bat guano, a little extra perlite, and have a couple of biotabs in each.

We have to install extraction in each polytunnel, then we'll make a drip irigation system for each. Hoping to get away with plain water for the duration, but if not, no big deal.

The Biotabs are awesome but have You considered the Guerillia which are special designed for outdoor Conditions???? Might be the better Choice for a Outdoor Crop. But anyways theese Biotabs rock (i had them once as freebes from Sannies).

i've seen them at the shop, I'll check them out a little closer. I thought about it as apparently biotabs are out of stock here until further notice.

biotabs seem to be working well in our beds which essentially the medium and mix will be the same as what's going into the pots outdoor.

cheers anyway :)

What are using that is cheaper than smart pots?

The pots are just like smart pots but not the smart pot brand, so 1/3 of the price.
The drip systems are coming a long nicely, we have everything to finish them now pretty much.

Looks a hell of a lot of fun!

Hey guys whilst the site has been down we've made a lot of progress outdoors!

Fan controller and extractors working in each tunnel.

Drip systems working.

And full, we have 1 for walter White, one for 24c, and one for hbss as they need stock replenishing sooner than others :)

I'll get some photos up in the coming days.
