Mephisto Genetics Out of retirement.....Double Grape!

Hey everyone! I'm jumping back into growing. I've been out of the hobby since 2017. Alot has changed in that time and a lot has stayed the same. Regardless of that I'm going to start a grow log of my set up. My set up is as close to my old set up as I can remember since I had such great success with it. I am growing in a custom modified cabinet to help blend into my home. I am running a Mars Hydro SP3000 light, 4" fan and carbon filter and will be using basic General Hydroponic 3 part nutes, with Botanicare Silica in a 3 gallon DWC set up. I am starting out with a Mephisto Double Grape. I put a bean into my hi tech gemination chamber last night at 10pm and at 6pm tonight it already has cracked and the tip of it's tap root is showing. Tomorrow morning I'll get the bucket set up and snap a couple pictures. I'm looking forward to the fun again.

This is the result of being in my ultra hi tech germination chamber for 30 hours! Root is a little longer than I normally would have like but I was careful and have it in a Rapid Rooter plug. I use 6" Rhizocore bucket top from HTG. I cut the top off the center and wedge the plug into the top. The seed should be above the plug and have shed the shell in a couple of days. I'll make another update then.
