@Boognelson87 . I believe it’s around April as that’s when shad spawn and cats go wild. Wind blowing in your face is your friend. Wind pushes plankton shad follow the food and blues jump on them

I agree. I love the south wind there when I'm fishing there. They had both stacks running so even with wind the discharge you need 4 ounces of weight to hold a decent bait in the current. 35 mph winds there out of south actually is good fishing. Just not best weather lol

Good luck. Enjoy the day on the water regardless. Looking at rain so far all day here. Still got snow on ground now.
