My life is all hobbies. If I’m home I’m in the woodshop(handtool only) either making furniture or fishing lures. I’m on the water everyday from December to June sunup-sundown chasing perch and walleye( time mixed between filling freezer and testing new design ideas). Also really into music(been on a Psychobilly and Rockabilly kick lately). Here’s a pic of my best friend Angus and an upright bass I made for my daughter. It’s called the “travel bass”. She didn’t want to take her nice bass to get ruined in the dorms. Also some ice fishing lures

Very nice and cool! One day I'd like to make my own lures. No tasty walleye here unfortunately but got sauger 25 minutes from me. Next month I'll be chasing em. Maybe early March depensing how cold winter is. Dont get cold enough here to ice fish. Lakes usually freeze but about 2 hours to far south to enjoy it.

Definitely. I love early season/late fish. hoping to take a trip one day to go ice fishing. muskie is hopefully gonna get caught soon. Went to Michigan and caught my first brown trout and northern pike in 2018. Couldnt get a salmon they were running and had no knowledge on it. Man are those fish powerful. Seen a guy hook one and the fish took his drag and still jumped the dam and broke his line.

I’m rt on the Detroit river so it’s walleye fever from Ice out till the pleasure boats arrive,but that’s mostly just for sport of out fishing my buddies, I let them keep the meat, I only keep fish from the ice.

Very nice! Didnt make it that far. Made it to Cadillac. Fished tippy dam and over that way. I really loved it up there. Cleaner air that's for sure. I bet you get some nice smallies too. Those muscles or clams? sure are taking over them lakes though it looked like
