Male and female parts on the same plant? There's 3 that look like this...

Removed a male. Have 2 confirmed zkittles females and 1 gelato so far (3 biggest on the left side). So I should be able to fill up this tent. Hopefully I can get them sorted by this weekend so I can hook up the irrigation and get it rolling. Probably gaining an inch of 2 of height per day now

Just wondering if anybody is using ethylene gas to get a bigger percentage of females when sexing regular seeds? I had to search for it, but i found am article by Jorge Cervantes in which he tells of usin fruits like apples and bananas that release ethylene gas placed directly under the canopy of the plants, probably just right on top of the soil is what i imagine . And the wthylene inhibits the growth of male flowers peomoting more females! Basically the reverse process of reversing a female plant using sts or cs by inhibiting the production of ethylene gas to promote the growth of male flowers! Pretty interesting !!!

Edit: you must remove the fruits after sex is established, as excess ethylene gas during flower can cause issues.

I smoke the male flowers for the tests as the first smoke of the day. I think I am oldskool

Yup, using Ethephon will do the same thing to a male as using STS or CS to make a female male.
Ethephon is a precursor to Ethylene, which tells the plants to start making female flowers. You can even use it on females as they will produce quite some more flowers because of it. But that's an entire other story.

BUT...You should be careful in the dosage as to much will kill of your plants.

Very cool! Is that something you tried? The articles and experiments i e read so far all seem pretty promising! Not ethyphon per se’ but ethylene from fruit that produce it. Thats cool about ethyphon and reversing males tho, also boosting flower growth in females! I wonder why everybody doesnt do that if its common knowledge?
