So I have 4 PJEMS due to come down later this week and then 6 onyx that are about 25 days old.
I had to temporarily hide them on Sunday as some visitors were coming by who are not cool.
I had no option other than sending them up into the attic. It had to have been 100 in there, maybe 105. They spent 6 hours up there and as soon as folks were drivin away, I pulled em down but the 1 male was really fried, the other 5 girls were quite fried also- we are talkin the tips fried back about a half inch. The male actually drooped completely over- the top 5 inches has fallen straight down and by the next day, that bend was drying out so I assume it is effectively topped now.

Question is this: will this male come back enough to work for me? I need that dude to screw the other 5 females for this seed run.
The 5 females just show brown crunchy leaf tips by the next day- maybe 5-10cm long.

The JEMS barely changed- just 1-2cm burned leaf tips.

Temps that high are really tough on young plants. About all you can do is give it some water and see what happens. You may still get enough good growth off of it to get some pollen.

Thanks Muddy.
Things were worse when I got there last night.
2 of the females did the same thing. attached is the male and one of the females.
They are just entering flowering. I guess they will be stunted now too. It is just a seed run so I'm crossing my fingers.

Yes, stunted for sure. That male looks like it still has some good side branches so you should still get a good bit of pollen from it. You really don't need much to produce a whole lot of seeds.
