Looking for advice on one light vs two for a 2x4? I have been eyeing the Mars SP3000 vs 2- Mars SP150 specifically. I already have a Mars light and am happy with the build/quality/price so figured I'd stick with them.

Is there a significant reason to go with one light vs dual? My inexperience in looking at these data sheets indicates performance goes to the SP3000, but was unsure about the versatility of dual SP150 lights overcoming the performance advantage.

Hi bud , new grower here also, I’m in a 2-4 tent aswell, my next light will be an sp3000, that alone would be ideal . I suppose if you have 2 leds and different size plants you could move each light individually according to height of plants. 2 x sp150 = 270watts and the sp3000 = 300 watts. 2 x 150 is a lot cheaper than the 3000 and not too much difference in wattage.

I pretty much have the same train of thought on the topic. Price/adjustable vs Power.

In my 2x4 I'm running 2xts1000 and a ts 600 in between them.
I used two TS1000 in a 2x4x6 tent for my first grow and got well over 500 grams of great weed, for my 2nd grow I added a 3rd TS1000 at the beginning of week 6 and got very close to 1kg plus trim.
And I'm following these guys..

As best i can.

This is my first post. Been growing for a good bit. I usually grow in an 8x4 in the garage. Summer here always sucks. So, I decided to run photos outside this year, and just 2 autos indoors. So I picked up a 4x2.

For lighting the 4x2 I decided on a ARA 41, 3 bar kit from Atreum. Couldn’t be happier. 4’ in length so it lights the entire tent evenly. Great customer support too. Only downside is now I want a couple 5 bar kits for the 8x4…$$$.
