one branch drooping/dying

why i was thinking a break in the stem.

somehow lost this in my head in between... lol

:bong: of Mekong..... thatll do it... lol

It appears to have much more advanced deficiencies too.... maybe a sensitive pheno didnt like high nutes?

whats the ph look like?
dont forget:
ph vs uptake.gif

yeh they are a bit clawish. the soil i added only about an inch ontop to top up and its different to the rest. it has potting soil perlite and dolomite/garden lime to fix a ph problem. its horrible soil and it is very clumpy, but i needed to fix the ph etc. i changed the mix after i knew, it holds moisture too well and is very dense. the other soil underneath is better but doesnt dry out untill the top does etc.
the larger fan claws might just be from being pushed up against other plants as it was squeezed between two plants as its getting crowded and i immediately took photo maybe not though, basically every leaf is a mutant of some sort. the flash makes it darker green but they were a little too dark anwyay.

there have been many problems just trying to get them finished now though. had very bad ph problems for about 6 weeks where they were well below 6 maybe 5, only stabilised at 6.4/6.5 for the past month at most..

chopped that branch and i dont think it had been snapped as theres a halfinch bulge at the node which is like concrete.

I'll bet that and ph issues are the primary reason for this... especially when you say "Clumpy wet soil" I know exactly what you mean... and thats what it causes... not enough air flow exchange in the soil to carry away toxins and maintaIn stable ph... :toke:

yeh on the bag it said airy and light(can only find vague descriptions void of anything usefull..) also it dries like concrete then dust finally:cuss:.
heres another pic just a bit closer to the real life colour. a mix of this and the other pic, somewhere in between.

not that its perfect just might show something.

I didn't know ProMix was peat moss.

Promix isn't peat-moss. It's more like a bag full of sunshine and gold. haha. I love Promix! Ok just kidding about it not being peat of course. ATTN: Promix is peat-moss mainly. Just to clear that up and be sure, not trying to mislead folks.
