Old Reviews Ona Breeze for odor control WOW!

Thank you for your input cres. Do you have a recommendation on a good brand of carbon filters? Mine help for sure but they don't eliminate anything.
All of my carbon filters are from Gotham except for one and it says "Active Air" on it. Everyday is a harvest around these parts :D

My 4x12 Phresh has been nothing short of fantastic. I run it with a 210cfm Hydrofarm 4" fan. I havent had to use any ONA at all. Never a smell - 6 months running nonstop. I think you get what you pay for with Filters. I dont care if I have to change it out once a year, if I get by more - great. My Filter was around $80-90.

Alot of users have great luck with the PHAT line as well.

Good luck!

i think what a lot of people dont realize is that when your exhausting to an attic or outside you need to go to the attic to tell if it realy smells or not , and also , when you live in the stench you yourself dont smell it after even a short ammount of time

i run filters and masking agents and when ppl come to visit me they claim to smell it at the street (15 ft away from the house) , and i DONT exhaust to the attic or outside at all

please for everyone here and your own safety dont assume everything is fine simply because you yourself dont smell it

peace

THIS! I run a CAN50 with a Vortex controlled @ 350CFM in a 2x3x8 closet.. I exhaust to my attic through a bathroom vent fan. Some people tell me they can smell it outside, some people tell me they can't. I do know if I leave my house for a good part of the day and I come back I can smell what I believe to be hints of it. To test for smell leaks, leave for 12 hours to a day and come back (not smoking, obviously) and see what it smells like. If the door to the grow room is open, the smell is obnoxious in the hallway. I must note though; when the filter was brand new (two years ago,) the smell was not noticeable at all.

Nice info guys. Just an update on my Ona fans.... They're in the closet collecting dust
I upgraded my carbon filters, I got 2 phresh filters and 2 rhino pro filters. Done deal. No more smell, at all.
Proper filters and fans, can't/won't beat it for odor control.

I got a couple phresh filters for my tents, waiting to set back up to see how they work :) was thinking abt still getting the ona for when I got my plants out watering And harvesting

I have an extra fan/filter that I use just for that grinden. I just turn it on when I pull out the plants for a little added protection. Safety Break!!!:group::group:

I thought about that, would probably be more efficient and just as cheap in the long run. How long does the ona last?

do you just setup your extra fan filter in the room your watering in rob?

just a little something i had happen on my last harvest for those interested. My drying closet has a fa/filter combo in it where i hang the buds to dry.The exhaust blows into my living area and where it comes out i setup a small onafan bucket. When everything was dry i had a few people tell me some of the bud supposedly tasted a little off and reminded them of a dryer sheet. The only thing i could figure was the closet fan/filter sucked some of the ona fresh linen smell in somehow and contaminated my buds. This was the first time i ever had a problem with the ona but its also the first time i used the ona within 3 feet of the drying room. No one knew i had setup a smell bucket so when they said it eminded them of a dryer sheet smell/taste i knew right off what happened.Since then i've disconnected my ona bucket running near that closet.
