Only did my Blue Cheese get snapped during hurricane Irene last year and I taped it with metal duct tape and it yielded the same as the rest but it also happened to a member here I believe Prezdickie and his grew fine as well. When you first start tying them you only do it slightly with a very slight bend. It takes time to slowly get them trained to go over. Every couple days pulling them a little tighter. If you just try to instantly tie them over they will break. Which is not a good thing but also doesn't mean the plant is dead and ruined. My Blue Cheese was in mid flower. It was snapped in half about 10 inches up from the base. Just a little outer skin still attached on the one side. I picked it up and wrapped it tight with metal duct tape. It continued to bud and grow with the rest of them. By harvest time it was the same size as the rest of the plants. Cannabis plants are some sturdy plants believe it or not. I've seen it with my own eyes. You'd be shocked of what they can go through. My giant 10 footer went through a hurricane, a flood and 5 heat waves of 3 or more days in a row over 100 degrees. She was a brute.

wow, great info my man..im actually not worried at all..what happened is almost the same as super cropping from what ive read..only the bend is horizontal, which could potentially make the top part die of..but even if it dies off, ill just cut it, and all that energy will go into the other-still very tall-branches. so no worries, actually im eager to see how each one of them handles the different styles of training. well have to wait and see! either way im still so fuckin' stoked to have changed my light schedule today, now its time to watch the magic happen ~ photo style!
ive learned so much in the past few months, and with this photo grow the knowledge is gonna just keep on pouring in..im like a sponge right now and im lovin' it. Definetly a fun and interesting hobby that im hooked on forever.

Hey guys. :coffe: Pretty much feel like poo today. I never really get that drunk. We went to my woman's dads house to hang out with the fam. Which pretty much consists of sitting around outside in the country and drinking beer, riding the golf cart, and checking their veggie garden out(her dad has grown his fair share of Canna in his day, and we chat about that when the women aren't around )
I got on here last night after we got home and could barely damn type, it was ridiculous. I don't even remember posting that post about having good pics, haha. I just know I kept trying to follow along and read and was like 'ok I can't effin do this'. I hadn't burned allll day and buddy came and smoked me out when we got back, needless to say after a dozen beers, not smoking all day, then smoking. I was shwasted.
Well now that I know what's going, I am even more jealous of your jars of stanky stank, G. Awesome damn job dude. Sorry to hear about that one photo, but you seems to be all over it and not fretting, good. Can't wait for more pics and progress. And hey, you'll save a little power on 12/12 now. :thumbs:

:buds:yeah man..that was funny last night. haha, thats all good man, ive def been there. @ least you had a good time man, thats all that matters. anyhow yeah man the jars full o' nug are great. im gonna have like 6 more jars like that once i take the nugz down from the hangers. Been curing for a couple days and theyre already starting to get their smell back...cool. Its so damn weird not to be able to just go check out my girls all the time. this 1212 schedule is really screwing me up.lol will be nice on my electricity tho

Congrats sir, it is this site, its contributors, and the hard work that make it all possible. If it weren't for some of the people on here, I would never have been successful on my first grow. I am in the process of 12/12'ing my photos/non auto-flowering autos, and let me tell you, it makes a huge heat/electricity difference. Much more easier to keep the room cool. Cheers man, let us know how it smokes.. I am curious though, how does it smell? how you would you describe it? Anyways, one day we will have to pass the dutchie to the left hand side. :smokebuds:
